Beer has always been a frontier. Here at The Perfectly Happy Man, we enjoy writing reviews, discussing beer-related topics, engaging the culture … but we also like making the stuff. Thankfully, our team is composed of some aspiring home brewers. Each of them got into home brewing at different times and for different reasons, but they all share a common purpose: to learn, refine, and create in the name of beer. Check out the following home brewing blog(s), which are written by our own “in-house” brewers:
Two Matts Brew-Op featuring Matt C.: “My wife and I bought a house in early 2009 and about the same time my friend Matt gave me a beer making kit for Christmas. Things have only progressed for the better from there. We are always upgrading gear, constantly talking and thinking about beer, drinking beer, dreaming about beer, and more. We love it.”
Empty Green Bottle Brewing, featuring Tom S.: “My homebrewing experience developed from an interest in Samuel Adams. I had visited the Boston brewery in 2007 and while on a tour, I got to touch and smell both hops and malt for the first time. Something inside me was drawn to the historic/organic nature of brewing. I bought a kit off their website in February 2008 and have been forging ahead slow and steady. While I don’t really use green bottles, I like how they look!”
