Casablanca Lager

Written by

I’m sure most would agree that the movie Casablanca is a classic. Unfortunately, the beer I’m currently sampling is another classic adjunct lager. There is nothing unique or impressive about this beer.

Appearance: light golden color with a small hint of haze. It had a 1/8 inch head that died quickly, moderate carbonation.

Aroma: rather bland, did not get the presence of malt or hops.

Taste: like a standard lager, cheap, too light, some bitterness

Mouthfeel: watery, light, left a very small amount of sweetness, overall it left a metallic aftertaste.

This brew may be enjoyable on a hot day, but only if it’s the only beer you have to drink. Don’t waste your time.

ABV: 5.0%

Grade: F
